“
Once upon a time, there was this fab lady named Ayumi. She loved to draw and like all of the posts on tumblr.
One day, as she was writing some awesome poetry, she looked up and saw an owl outside her window. That was a very bizarre sight, especially in the middle of the day, but she dismissed it and went back to her poetry.
Then she heard a tap on the window. She glanced up but there was nothing there. When she stood and peered out, she discovered the owl fluttering underneath the window. She wondered if it had run into the window and tried to shoo it off so it didn’t hurt itself.
As she watched, it extended its neck and tapped on the glass with its beak. It was almost like it wanted to come inside.
Then Ayumi noticed there was something strapped to the owl’s leg. Quickly, she opened the window and the owl flew in and landed on the sill. It stared at her and extended its leg.
She was wary of the sharp beak, but she untied the object, which appeared to be a small scroll. She unrolled it and began to read.
“Dear Ms Ayumi,
It is our pleasure to inform you that you have been accepted to the premiere magical school in Japan, the Young Witches’ Institute at Osaka…”
With a cry of delight, she collapsed on her bed and clutched the letter to her chest. She’d always known she wasn’t a Muggle.
